THE GATE OF THE ECLIPSED MOONA Lilithian Tarot Rite of Shadow, Severance, Power & Becoming

THE GATE OF THE ECLIPSED MOON A Lilithian Tarot Rite of Shadow, Severance, Power & Becoming
One year ago, beneath the Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, The Lilithian Tarot reached its completion.
As the eclipsed Moon bled her strange and darkened light across my altar, hundreds of hours of ritual, trance, writing, creation, and art converged into one living Current. What had begun as vision had become flesh, ink, image, and oracle.
Now, beneath another lunar eclipse, I return to that threshold in celebration of the power that has been shared, awakened, and wielded through the Lilithian Current.
The lunar eclipse is a liminal gate.
The Moon enters shadow and emerges transformed.
Within magick, this celestial passage may be worked as a mirror of our own descent: revelation of what has remained hidden, severance from what has reached its end, reclamation of power, and conscious becoming.
Shadow. Severance. Power. Becoming.
In honour of the anniversary of The Lilithian Tarot, I offer this working to the Current.

Access to my songs Through the Shadowed Veil and Spirit of Lilitu from Lilithian Songs of Power, available on streaming platforms
Choose candles small enough to safely burn completely during the working.
The black candle belongs to the descent, revelation, and severance.
The red candle belongs to power, embodiment, and becoming.
Place your black mirror at the back of the altar.
Place the black candle before it to the left and the unlit red candle to the right.
Lay The Lilithian Tarot between them.
Place the cord, blade, papers, and talisman before the deck.
Dim the room.
Allow the mirror to disappear almost completely into darkness.
OPENING THE SHADOWED VEIL
Light the black candle.
Begin playing Through the Shadowed Veil.
Do nothing else at first.
Sit before the black mirror and allow the song to become the opening of the ritual space.
Look into the mirror.
Allow your eyes to soften.
See the faint movement of candlelight across the darkness. See your own reflection appear and disappear within it.
You stand symbolically at the threshold between the known self and that which waits beneath it.
As the song carries you deeper, speak:
The Moon enters shadow.
And so do I.
Through the Shadowed Veil I descend,through darkness I seek,through reflection I behold.
Let the hidden become visible.Let the unnamed receive its name.Let the gate within the shadow open before me.
Remain before the mirror until the song ends.
Then close your eyes.
INVOCATION OF LILITH
Begin playing Spirit of Lilitu.
Stand before your altar.
Let the song itself become part of the invocation.
Raise your hands toward the black mirror and speak:
Lilith.
Lilitu.
Spirit of the Night and Flame of the Unbound Will.
She who moves beyond the boundaries imposed upon Her.
She who enters the wilderness crowned in Her own divinity.
I open this rite beneath the shadowed Moon.
Enter this temple through the gate of my consciousness.
Move through mirror, card, flame, blood, breath, and Will.
Walk beside me through the shadow.
Reveal what must be revealed.
Witness what I sever.
Awaken what I reclaim.
And illuminate that which I choose to become.
Continue listening until Spirit of Lilitu ends.
Then sit before the mirror.
I. SHADOW
Take The Lilithian Tarot into your hands.
Look into the black mirror and ask:
What within my shadow must now be revealed and severed so that I may become more fully my true self?
Shuffle.
Draw one card.
Place it before the black candle.
Look first at the card.
Then look into your reflection within the black mirror.
Move your attention slowly between the two.
Card.
Reflection.
Card.
Reflection.
Then chant:
Lilitu, Lady of the Night,She who walks beneath the veiled Moon, open now the hidden gate.
Let shadow speak.Let truth arise.Let that which has followed unseenstand revealed before me.
I see it.
I know it.
I name it.
Take the first piece of paper.
Write what has been revealed.
A fear.
An attachment.
A relationship.
A belief.
A pattern.
An obligation.
An identity.
A version of yourself whose time has ended.
Give it a name.
II. SEVERANCE
Take the black cord.
Wrap your written paper around its centre and tie it once.
Hold one end of the cord in each hand.
Pull it taut.
Speak:
This cord bears the name of that which has bound me.
I have seen you.
I have named you.
I have carried you.
Your dominion ends here.
Take your blade or scissors.
Cut the cord through the centre.
As it breaks, declare:
SEVERED.
Place the pieces into the fireproof vessel.
Burn the paper safely from the black candle if appropriate, or tear it apart and dispose of it following the rite.
Speak:
What is ended is ended.
What is severed shall no longer command me.
Where your binding stood, my Will now stands.
Return your gaze to the black mirror.
Look at yourself again.
The person reflected there is already standing on the other side of something that existed only moments before.
III. POWER
Return your hands to the Tarot.
Ask:
What power is released through this severance and now returns to me?
Draw the second card.
Place it between the candles.
Chant:
From beneath the veil, arise.
From beneath the silence, speak.
Power buried.
Power forgotten.
Power surrendered.
Power denied.
Return now unto the hand that claims you.
Lilitu, reveal the treasure of my descent.
What was silenced becomes voice.
What was restrained becomes Will.
What was hidden becomes power.
I remember.
I reclaim.
I wield.
Take your second piece of paper.
Write:
I RECLAIM MY POWER TO...
Complete the sentence according to what the card has revealed.
Fold the paper toward yourself three times.
Place it beneath the card.
Now take your key, coin, jewellery, or talisman into your hands.
Hold it over the card.
Speak:
What I reclaim shall not remain merely known.
It enters my hands.
It enters my choices.
It enters my actions.
It enters my Will.
By my own authority, I take possession of this power.
Place the talisman upon the card.
From this moment forward, the object becomes the physical anchor of what you have reclaimed.
IV. BECOMING
Ask:
Who am I becoming as I wield this power without apology?
Draw the third card.
Place it before the red candle.
Light the red candle.
Stand.
Look at the card and then into the black mirror.
This time, do not search the mirror for what is hidden.
Look directly at yourself.
Ask:
What would this version of me do?
Then do something.
If the card reveals sovereignty, crown yourself with your own hands.
If it reveals voice, speak aloud something you have previously been afraid to say.
If it reveals boundaries, declare the boundary.
If it reveals creation, write the first sentence, make the first mark, or begin the work.
If it reveals desire, name exactly what you choose.
If it reveals independence, make a decision belonging entirely to your own Will.
If it reveals action, take the first physical step before the ritual ends.
The third card is not merely interpreted.
It must be embodied.
Bring its Current into flesh.
Then place your hands around the three cards.
SHADOW. POWER. BECOMING.
Speak:
By shadow I descended.
By my own hand I severed.
By Will I reclaimed.
By flame I become.
What was bound is broken.
What was hidden is revealed.
What was surrendered is reclaimed.
What is mine, I wield.
Through the Current of Lilith, through the blood of the Moon, through the Gate of the Eclipsed Moon,I pass from what I wasinto what I have chosen to become.
I arise sovereign.
I arise knowing.
I arise wielding.
I ARISE UNBOUND.
Leave the three cards upon the altar.
Leave your written declaration and talisman between them.
Allow both candles to burn completely down in a safe place.
Let the black candle consume the final remnants of the descent.
Let the red candle burn as the flame of what has arisen in its place.
When both flames have consumed themselves, take your talisman into your hands.
Stand once more before the black mirror.
Look directly into your own eyes.
Read aloud:
I reclaim my power to...
Then say:
The shadow revealed me.
The blade freed me.
The flame transformed me.
I now wield all that which I have become.
Carry the talisman with you throughout the coming lunar cycle at least.
Whenever you touch it, remember the declaration made before the mirror.
Then ask yourself:
Am I wielding what I reclaimed?
If the answer is no, take one action.
This is how the ritual leaves the altar and enters your life.
One year after The Lilithian Tarot reached its completion beneath an eclipsed Moon, I offer this working back to the Current in gratitude for every hand that has held these cards, every altar upon which they have rested, and every witch, sorcerer, and seeker who has entered the Current through them.
The mirror reveals.
The blade severs.
The Tarot gives voice.
The flame transforms.
The talisman carries.
And the Witch wields.
The Current lives because it is wielded.
Through Lilith's Flame, we arise.
